These fabulous, fungi are freshly full of fervour, as well as a fun form of being fruitfully fertile, festively funky and sometimes fundamentally faulty for being futile.

Our fellow flimsy fungi are no farce for floundering their familiarity to fulfill, they can be the first to finish a friendly feeling of forbidden fantasy. Though we forebode their fragility and their forlorned existence being frightfully fatal, these fungi are freakishly fortunate of occasionally flaunting felicity.

Whether you know it or not, mushrooms have been a source for medicinal wellness and general immunity through multiple cultures for millennia. So why are they so great? Part of the answer is:

Beta Glucans

What are they?

Beta Glucans are sugars found in the cell walls of bacteria, yeasts, algae, lichens, and in this case, BG’s are present in the fruiting body of fungi, or mushrooms.

What do they do?

Primarily beta glucans are great for the immune system. They actually stimulate the “Natural Killer” Cells or (NK) cells. These NK cells are responsible for attacking all kinds of infections in the immune system (from common colds to HIV).

Most people with autoimmune, or inflammation problems can benefit from these Natural Killer Enhancers. The healthcare system actually administers beta glucans into cancer patients’ IV. However anyone who has conditions like eczema, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, Lyme disease, and other autoimmune diseases can benefit from beta glucans as well.
